In a romantic, and even erotic manner, Una Margrét Árnadóttir and Örn Alexander Ámundason experiment in their work with intimacy and bodily presence—always with self-consciousness and underlying humour. As a couple, they take their inspiration from their own everyday communication and through exaggerated, constant teasing.
Una Margrét Árnadóttir finished her art studies at the Malmö Art Academy in 2013 and Örn Alexander Ámundason in 2011.
Una Margrét Árnadóttir has exhibited at various venues in the last few years, including the Living Art Museum, Iceland; Malmö Konsthall, Sweden; The Museum of Public Art Lund, Sweden; CEO Galleri, Sweden; Gallerí Úthverfa, Iceland; Röda Sten Konsthall, Sweden and Galleri Arnstedt, Sweden.
Several new works and performances by Örn Alexander Ámundason were shown at RAKE Visningsrom, Norway, Hjalteyri, Iceland; Platform Belfast, Northern Ireland; Lunds Konsthall, Sweden; Bergen International Performance Festival, Norway; Bästa Biennalen, Sweden; Reykjavik Dance Festival, Iceland and the ACTS Performance Festival, Denmark.
